Auto Sentry flex Replacing Lower Heat Exchanger

Tools Required

• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• 3/8" nut driver

Powering Down the Auto Sentry flex

WARNING: Failure to turn off the Auto Sentry increases the risk of serious bodily injury or death;
and also, may cause the credit card reader to go into a tamper state and if that happens, the credit card reader will have to be replaced.

1. On the site server desktop, click on the VNC icon for the Auto Sentry flex.
2. On the menu bar, click the Windows Flag icon.
3. Click the Shutdown button.
4. Wait until the Auto Sentry flex display goes to a white screen.
5. With the hex key, open the rear doors of the Auto Sentry flex.
6. Turn off the power switch inside the Auto Sentry head.
7. Turn off both breakers inside the Auto Sentry head by pressing the blue buttons on the breakers until they click out. 
8. Turn off the breaker inside the Auto Sentry base by pressing the blue button on the breaker until it clicks out.
9. Shut off the electricity to the Auto Sentry by turning off the Auto Sentry breaker inside the ICS power distribution box.
   
   

Replacing Lower Heat Exchanger

1. Remove the bill dispenser from the base enclosure by disconnecting the communication and power cables and lifting the unit out of the enclosure.
2. Remove (6) #10 nuts and lock washers securing exterior plastic to enclosure.
3. Disconnect power from heat exchanger.
4. Remove (4) screws securing heat exchanger to enclosure and remove heat exchanger from enclosure.
5. Insert new heat exchanger into enclosure and secure with (4) screws. Reconnect power connection.

6. Secure plastic to door with (6) #10 nuts and lock washers.

   

Powering Up the Auto Sentry

1. Connect the power to the ICS power distribution box by turning on the Auto Sentry
   breaker inside the ICS power distribution box.
2. Turn the breakers on inside the Auto Sentry Flex by pressing the blue buttons on the
   breakers until they click in. If you have the orange breaker, pull up the handle on the orange
   breaker to turn it on.
3. Inside the Auto Sentry, turn on the power switch to boot the system.
4. Close the Auto Sentry base door.
