Auto Sentry flex Replacing 1.00 Coin Hopper

Required Tools

• Standard Phillips screwdriver
• Small Phillips screwdriver
   

Powering Down the Auto Sentry flex

WARNING: Failure to turn off the Auto Sentry increases the risk of serious bodily injury or death;
and also, may cause the credit card reader to go into a tamper state and if that happens, the credit card reader will have to be replaced.

1. On the site server desktop, click on the VNC icon for the Auto Sentry flex.
2. On the menu bar, click the Windows Flag icon.
3. Click the Shutdown button.
4. Wait until the Auto Sentry flex display goes to a white screen.
5. With the hex key, open the rear doors of the Auto Sentry flex.
6. Turn off the power switch inside the Auto Sentry head.
7. Turn off both breakers inside the Auto Sentry head by pressing the blue buttons on the breakers until they click out. 
8. Turn off the breaker inside the Auto Sentry base by pressing the blue button on the breaker until it clicks out.
9. Shut off the electricity to the Auto Sentry by turning off the Auto Sentry breaker inside the ICS® power distribution box.
   
   

Replacing $1.00 Coin Hopper

WARNING: Always power down the Auto Sentry before you begin.

1. Disconnect Power and communication cable from coin hopper board.
2. Slide out coin hopper shelf from Auto Sentry by pushing the tabs on both sides to release rails.
3. Remove coin chute by removing the (4) screws holding it in.
4. Remove coin hopper wiring terminal from coin hopper board.
5. Remove coin hopper by removing the (4) Phillips screws: (2) in the front and (2) in back attaching it to the shelf.
6. Align new hopper with screw holes and secure into place.
7. Connect wiring terminal block to coin hopper board.
8. Reinsert shelf into Auto Sentry, push all the way in to lock rails in place.

9. Reconnect power and communication cables to coin hopper board.

   

Instructions to Power Up the Auto Sentry flex

1. Turn on the electricity to the Auto Sentry Flex by turning on the Auto Sentry breaker inside the ICS power distribution box.
2. Turn the breakers on inside the Auto Sentry flex by pressing the blue buttons on the breakers until they click in.
3. Inside the Auto Sentry flex, turn on the power switch to boot the system.
4. Test using diagnostic screen on Auto Sentry.
