AS4 Petro Unpacking Instructions

Tools Required

Prior to performing this procedure, you will need to have the following tools:

• Miniumum of two people
• Metal cutter or tin snip
• Utility knife or box cutter

Completion Time

We estimate that it will take 15 minutes to perform this procedure.

WARNING: Read through all the instructions prior to unpacking.

1. Instructions Move the pallet to the closest possible location next to where you will install the Auto Sentry Petro. 
   
   NOTE: The closer you can get the pallet to the Auto Sentry Petro, the better as you will have to lift the Auto Sentry Petro out of the box and place it on the base.
   
   
2. With the metal cutter or tin snip, cut the straps from the shipping box, and remove the box top.
   
   
   
   
3. Remove the top cardboard tray of blue plastics and set aside.
4. Remove the foam from below the Petro pedestal and set aside.
   
   
   
   
5. Remove the gray base plastic pieces, and the large gray plastic cover for the Auto Sentry Petro with the top foam piece, and set aside.
6. Use a utility knife or box cutter to cut open all four corners of the box from top to bottom.
7. Slide the small cardboard box (keyboard, mouse, and hardware), metal plate, and stainless steel riser (if ordered) and set aside. 
   
   
   
   
8. If purchased, mount the 6” metal riser to the concrete.

9. One person lifts up the base of the Auto Sentry Petro while the second person removes the two foam pieces.

   The only foam piece left in place will be underneath the head of the Auto Sentry Petro.

10. Two people slide the Auto Sentry Petro and foam until the base clears the edge of the pallet. 

    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    CAUTION: DO NOT LIFT THE HEAD OF THE AUTO SENTRY PETRO BY THE THREE TABS ACROSS THE TOP.
11. One person grabs a hold of one side of the Auto Sentry Petro’s head and the other person holds the other side. Lift together until the Auto Sentry Petro is in the upright position on solid ground, not the pallet.
12. Two people lift the Auto Sentry Petro, and line up pedestal holes with the four screws on the the base, or onto the riser if applicable.
    CAUTION: DO NOT ALLOW FREE STAND OF THE AUTO SENTRY PETRO. MUST BE HELD OR SUPPORTED AT ALL TIMES UNTIL BOLTED DOWN.
