Powering Down the Auto Sentry

WARNING: Failure to turn off the Auto Sentry increases the risk of serious bodily injury or death; and also, causes the credit card reader to go into a tamper state and it will have to be replaced.

1. On the site server desktop, click on the VNC icon for the Auto Sentry.
2. On the menu bar, click the Windows flag icon.
3. Click the Shutdown button.
4. Wait until the Auto Sentry display goes to a white screen.
5. Open the rear doors of the Auto Sentry.
6. Turn off the power switch inside the Auto Sentry.
7. Turn off both breakers inside the Auto Sentry by pressing the blue buttons on the breakers until they click out.

8. Shut off the electricity to the Auto Sentry by turning off the Auto Sentry breaker inside the ICS power distribution box.

Install Cable

1. After you power down the Auto Sentry (steps #1-8), open the base of the Auto Sentry flex.
2. Disconnect the DeLaRue bill dispenser power pigtail cable at the bill dispenser power harness in the base of the Auto Sentry flex.
3. Remove the cable from the cable clamps on the bill dispenser drawer.
4. Connect the 3-pin connector on the new power pigtail to the 3-pin connector on the bill dispenser power harness.
5. Connect the 10-pin connector on the new power pigtail to the Genmega bill dispenser power socket.
6. Reattach the cable to the cable clamps on the bill dispenser drawer.
7. Open the top left door of the Auto Sentry flex, and locate the power supply.
8. Locate the yellow and blue wire of the bill dispenser power harness.

9. Using the #2 Phillips screw driver, remove the yellow wire from the +12V terminal and connect it to a +5V terminal. Remove the blue wire from the +36V terminal and connect it to a +24V terminal. The black cable remains at the ground terminal. 

Instructions to Power the Auto Sentry

1. Reconnect the power to the ICS power distribution box by turning on the Auto Sentry breaker inside the ICS power distribution box.
2. Turn the breakers on inside the Auto Sentry flex by pressing the blue buttons on the breakers until they click in. If you have the orange breaker, pull up the handle on the orange breaker to turn it on.
3. Inside the Auto Sentry, turn on the power switch to boot the system.
