Set Credit Surcharge

If you need to set or change the credit surcharge on credit card sales for your site, follow these instructions:

1. Log in to WashConnect at the local site.
2. Select System Setup > Devices > Settings.
   
   
   
   
3. In the Device Type box, select Global.
   
   
4. In the Device Name box, select the name of your site, or Corporate, whichever is available.
5. In the Settings Type box, select Global.
   
   
   
   
6. In the Settings box, select Surcharge Config.
   
   
   
   
7. In the Surcharge Amount box, set the value to charge.
8. In the Surcharge Amount Type box, set to either Amount or Percentage, depending on whether the surcharge needs to be a flat amount or a percentage of the purchase price.
   
   
   
   
9. In the Surcharge Enabled box, set to True to enable this setting.

   In the Surcharge Enabled box, set to False to disable this setting.
   
   
   
   
10. Click the Save button to finalize the changes.
11. Restart Touch on all Point of Sale and Payment Terminal devices in order to reflect this setting's change.
