WashConnect allows you to block specific license plates which will prevent these problematic plates from signing up for club promotions &/or renewing their existing club membership.
This guide applies to sites that have WashConnect version 1.8.2.18 or later.
Overview:
Security Role Assignment
In order to access this feature, first enable it through the Security Role section.
- Log in to the Corporate level of WashConnect.
- Select Users > SecurityRoles.
- Click on the name of the role that needs to have this functionality.
- Click the Edit button.
- Locate the Block Plate Security Role and click to select the box.
- Click the Save button to finalize your changes.
NOTE: you will have to log back into WashConnect to see these changes
Assigning a Plate as Blocked
- Select Customers > Manage Customers
- Using the search tools, locate the customer.
- Click on the customer to select the customer.
- Click the Edit Vehicle button.
Blocked Plates Report:
After Blocked Plates have been set up, utilize the Blocked Plates Report to view which customers were blocked and by which employee.
- Log into the Corporate level of WashConnect.
- Select Clubs > Reports > BlockedPlates.
- Define the date range we want to focus on by using the “From Date” and “To Date” boxes.
Optionally: if you know the Name or License plate of the affected customer, you can use the Search box to locate them specifically. - Click the View Report button to load a list of blocked plates.
NOTE: Use the Save or Print icons as needed
Blocked Plates Report field definitions:
Customer Name: the name of the customer, as defined within Manage Customers.
State: The State assigned to the vehicle plate, this should match the actual plate, but may not always due to user error when entering the vehicle information.
Plate: The code assigned to the vehicles plate, this should match the actual plate.
Blocked Date: The date that a WashConnect user clicked the “Block Plate” button for this vehicle.
Blocked By: The User that was logged into WashConnect at the time the block was put into place.
