ICS Payment Terminals allow us to quickly manage the physical cash through the Service Unit Screen.

Prerequisites
In order to log into the Service Unit screen, these two prerequisites need to be set up:
- User account must be set up in WashConnect with access to the Service Unit and Cash Access Security Roles.

For a User, a manager must set a PIN and give permission through Security Roles to access the Service Unit Screen.
IMPORTANT: Please make note and keep these numbers somewhere safe for future use as you will be asked for them every time you access the Service Unit Screen as well as contacting Technical Support:

To set up a PIN for a User, follow these steps:
- Select Users > Manage Users
- Search for your User.
- Refer to the User ID column:
- The first 4- to 5-digits are the Site ID
- The last 4- to 5-digits are the User ID
- Refer to the User ID column:
- Edit the User account.
- Locate the PIN field. See the image below showing an example of the PIN field.
- Type in a 4-digit PIN, if one is not already set.
- Type in a 4-digit PIN, if one is not already set.
- Click the Save button to finalize any changes.
Accessing Service Unit Screen:
To perform any Cash Management or diagnostic functions on an Auto Sentry unit, a user must first logon
to the Auto Sentry Service Unit Screen.
Prerequisite: For a User, a manager must set a PIN and give permission through Security Roles to access the Service Unit Screen.
- Using the hex key, unlock and open the rear doors of the following Payment Terminals:

- Auto Sentry flex
- Auto Sentry flex HD
- Auto Sentry Petro
- Smartstart Pro
- Auto Sentry CPT

Using the hex key, unlock and open the front doors of the legacy models of the Auto Sentry Petro & Auto Sentry EXP Payment Terminals.
- Locate either one of the red service or jackpot buttons in the upper-left chamber or, if available, in the base of the Payment Terminal.
- Push in and hold the red plunger button for 3 seconds, and then release.
WARNING! DO NOT hold this button for longer than 5 seconds or the Payment Terminal will perform a power cycle.
This resets the Service Unit Screen.

By releasing the Service Unit Screen button, the Auto Sentry touch screen changes from the customer facing Touch.exe screens to the diagnostics service screens for employee use only. When the Service Unit Screen is displayed, you will have success!
Logging into the Service Unit Screen
Verify the User's Site ID in the bottom right-side of the Service Unit Screen matches the User's Site ID for the user logging in to the Service Unit Screen.
If the Site ID needs to be changed:
- Tap the Edit button.
In the Center screen message box, the message "Please enter User's Site ID and press Enter" appears. - With the on-screen keypad, tap the first 4- to 5-digits of the Site ID in the User's Site ID box.
- Tap the Enter button.
If the Site ID is correct:
- On the on-screen keypad, type the 4- to 5-digit User ID.
- Tap the Enter button.
- Type the 4-digit PIN associated with the User ID who is logging into the Service Unit Screen.
- Tap the Enter button.
- Select a device by tapping on the denomination.
- Select the function to perform.
Service Unit Screen Actions:
ADD Action
- On the Service Unit screen, select a Bill Dispenser by tapping the Bill Dispenser icon for the denomination that will be added
-or-
select a Coin Hopper by tapping the coin or token hopper icon. - Tap the Add button.
- Tap the Start button.
- Type in the amount (in dollars) on the onscreen numeric keypad.
- The amount appears in the keypad display area.
When finished, tap the Enter button.
REMOVE Action:
- On the Service Unit Screen, select a Bill Dispenser by tapping the Bill Dispenser icon for the denomination that will be added
-or-
select a Coin Hopper by tapping the coin or token hopper icon. - Tap the Remove button.
- Tap the Start button.
The entire balance will be removed from the device. - Take the receipt for the Remove operation.
- Physically remove the money from the Auto Sentry component.
- Perform another operation or exit out of the Service Unit Screen.
VERIFY Action:
The Auto Sentry Verify operation allows the user to verify the money that is in an Auto Sentry Bill Dispenser. This operation can be used to audit the totals in the Auto Sentry or correct the money in an Auto Sentry component if the amount is incorrect.
The Verify operation will NOT dispense the bills out to verify the counts. The Bill Dispenser will show the total amount that it believes it has and it is up to the user to physically count the total and verify if they match. If the totals do not match, the user can correct the totals when performing a Verify.
- On the Service Unit screen, select a Bill Dispenser by tapping the Bill Dispenser icon for the denomination that will be added or select a Coin Hopper by tapping the coin or token hopper icon.
- Tap the Verify button.
- Tap the Start button.
- All funds in the device will be dispensed
- If the amount is correct:
Tap the Stop button.
If the amount is incorrect:

-
- Press the Edit button
- Enter the correct total number of bills counted, not the dollar amount.
- Press the Stop button

- Take the Receipt for the Removal operation.
- Perform another operation or exit out of the Service Unit Screen.
