Create a Club Promotion

Entice customers to sign up for a club membership with a promotion. Setup a promotion to add free time to a club membership, such as free days or free months. You could also run a club promotion that offers a specified amount or percentage discount that can be automatically deducted from the club for a specified number of billing cycles. This promotion also applies to the clubs sold on your WashNow! Online Store or  WashConnect ePOS.

1. On the WashConnect logon screen, log on to Corporate.
2. Select Configuration > Goods and Services > Club Services.
3. Click to select a Club Service from the list to apply a promotion, then click the Edit button. 
   The Club Service dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
4. In the Promotion panel, select one of two club service promotion options:
   • Free Promotion Option: Only available on clubs with the Billing Day set up as Signup Day.  
     1. In the Free box, select Days or Months from the list.
     2. Type in the amount of days or months.
        This Free time will be added before charging the customer for their first club recurring charge.
        NOTE:  The Free Days promotion is only available for a Club Service that is set up to bill on the Signup Day or First Day as the Billing Day as there is no ability to give free days to a Club Service that bills on the first day of each month.
   • Discount Promotion Option: The Free Days promotion is only available for a Club Service that is set up on the Signup Day as the Billing Day as there is no ability to give free days to a Club Service that bills on the first day of each month.
     1. Select Amount or Percentage.
     2. Type in the amount or percentage in the Discount box.
5. In the # of Billing Cycle box, type in the amount of billing cycles to offer the promotion.
   Example:
   • Set this to 0 if the promotion is applied to the initial purchase.
   • Set this to 1 if the promotion is applied to the initial purchase AND the first billing cycle.
6. In the Promotion Start Date box, type or select the start date for customers to be able to purchase this club with the promotion.
7. In the End Date box, type or select the end date for customers to be able to purchase this club with the promotion.
8. In the Name box, type a name for the Promotion that is descriptive of it.
9. In the BMP File box, type the name of a BMP File for the Promotion that we want to appear during the promotion period.
   • If you have not already done so, you will need to create or request a BMP file that reflects this discount in order for this to work.
     
     NOTE: When the promotion discounts are active, the club name will be displayed using the Promotional Name instead of the standard Club name. If custom bitmaps are used, when the promotion discounts are active, the Promotional BMP file will be displayed instead of the standard Club bitmap.
     
     
10. In the ePOS Description box, type a description specific to the club promotion that will be displayed during the promotion period on a WashConnect ePOS, if purchased and setup.
    
    NOTE: The WashConnect ePOS and WashNow! Online Store feature is optional and additional fees apply.
    
    
11. Click the Save button.
12. Repeat steps 1-11 to set up an additional club promotion.

The Club Service Promotion is now configured, and the next step is to include and enable it in the Club Sales Profile.

Promotion for a Club Service example follows that will grant 15 free additional days to their first billing date. (i.e., if purchasing a Signup Day club on July 15th then the next billing day will be August 30th)
