Set and Change WBC Controller - Service Settings

This guide applies to sites with the ICS web based tunnel controller, Tunnel Master wbc (WBC), who need to input or modify Service Settings from a Web Browser.

Backup WBC Settings

IMPORTANT: Before changing any Tunnel Master wbc settings, ICS recommends creating a backup of your current settings.

Create a Backup of your WBC settings

To backup WBC settings, follow these steps:

1. Open a web browser and navigate to the WBC IP address.
   The Default value is 10.0.0.200 but this may vary depending on site preference.
2. Log in to the WBC from a locally networked computer using credentials provided during initial setup.
   NOTE: Work with your team or contact ICS if the credentials have been lost or forgotten.
3. Select Configuration > Backup/Restore.
4. Click the Backup Configurations to a File button
5. Confirm the download in your browser, if prompted.
6. Click the Browse button to locate the WBC_Backup_DATE_TIME_VERSION.bin file.
   NOTE: DATE, TIME, and VERSION variables appear with the actual date, time, and version on the WBC.

Restore Backup Settings

The backup file saved can be reloaded or restored at any time.

1. Log in to the WBC from a locally networked computer using credentials provided during initial setup.
   NOTE: Work with your team or contact ICS if the credentials have been lost or forgotten.
2. Select Configuration > Backup/Restore.
3. Click the Backup Configurations to a File button.
4. Click the Browse button to locate the WBC_Backup_DATE_TIME_VERSION.bin file.
   NOTE: DATE, TIME, and VERSION variables appear with the actual date, time, and version on the WBC.
5. Click Restore Configurations to restore the WBC using the settings in the backup file.
   NOTE: The tunnel controller will not perform washes while settings are being restored.

Configured Services Settings Overview

NOTE: Create a back up of the current settings before making any changes to the settings.

Review the Configured Services menu screen in the WBC.

1. Log in to the WBC, and then select Configuration > Services
2. Tools available here:
   • Add Service: Opens the New Service form
   • Edit Service: Opens the Edit Service form
   • Exit Button: Moves from the Service Screen to the Home screen
   • Delete Checkbox: Targets an item for removal
   • Delete Button: Removes any services with a selected Delete Checkbox

Add a Service

1. Log in to the WBC, and then select Configuration > Services
2. Click the Add Service button.
3. Set the Name, Price, Type, and Tax Rate for the service.
   NOTE: If using ICS software, WashConnect will ultimately determine the Price and Tax Rate the customer will pay.
   Type definitions:
   1. Base: Washes that do not need to be attached to any other service, but can be if needed.
   2. Extra: Add-on Services that must be attached to a Base service
   3. Retract: Alternate Function services that must be attached to a Base service
4. Add outputs to the service as needed by using the Add button next to the output number to add.
   You will know an output has been added when the Add button is replaced with a Remove button, and the output number is listed in the Output field.
   NOTE: Selective outputs listed in the output list will activate the output during the service, any Deselective outputs listed will be disabled during the service.
5. Finalize your changes with the Save button.
