Navigating the Menus and Settings
The primary location to program the wash tunnel is going to be the TMJ Display and Display Keypad.
NOTE: Do not confuse this with the Entrance Keypad used to load washes and fire the roller.
- The numbers 1-9 buttons on the right hand side of the display will be used to enter and change settings using the T9 Texting Language. When entering a desired letter, note the number that shows the desired letter and the sequence on the number as that will be referenced to know how many times a button must be pressed to input the desired letter: (IE: if number 2 shows “DEF” and we need to type E, we will press the number 2 twice.)
- The number 0 button has multiple potential functions depending on what is being programmed and in which menu. In most menu options, the 0 button, when pressed, will allow for a space, a decimal point or zero. When setting service or output features, where there is more than one option, the 0 button can be pressed to scroll through the various options allowed for that setting.
- The AC button will be used to clear or move back to the previous field, depending on the menu section we are navigating.
- The ENT button is for confirming &/or moving to the next field, depending on the menu section we are navigating.
- The Menu button will be used to enter the Menu from the main display screen (shown above) or to exit out of an existing menu section, if we are in one.
- The F1-F4 buttons are function buttons that will be used to navigate through Menu’s & settings as well as finalize or clear these settings, the exact function of each button will be listed on the bottom of the display when we are configuring settings, outputs and services
- The display will show text we will need when configuring settings.
- The indicator lights on the left-hand side of the screen are purely for informational purposes, and will not be needed to input or change settings.
Before we change any settings: It is always advised to have a backup of the TMJ settings, please work with the ICS Support Team as needed to backup settings on your TMJ.
ICS recommends referring to the TMJ User Manual alongside this guide for specific setting definitions and other helpful information.
