Screen Does Not Respond Properly to Touch
Ensure Touch Screen is clean and dry

- Use non-Ammonia based glass cleaner and a lint free cloth to clean the screen.
Calibrate Touch Screen
- Connect a USB keyboard / mouse to an open USB port on the payment terminal motherboard. If there are no open USB ports, unplug a device other than the touch screen temporarily.
- Press the Windows key on the keyboard to bring up the Start Menu on the payment terminal.
- Click on the Control Panel shortcut that is pinned to the start menu.
- If there is no shortcut, search for Control Panel with the Start Menu active.
- From the Control Panel menu, click to select Tablet PC settings.
- Click Calibrate.
- Starting with the top left corner, touch (not click) each corner of the screen in the calibration utility.
- When prompted to save calibration data, touch or click Yes.
- Touch or click OK to close the Tablet PC settings box.
- Bring up the Start Menu again, go to Power and click Restart.
- Wait for the payment terminal to reboot, and test the screen.
Screen Does Not Respond to Touch at All
- Verify the Touch Screen is connected to a known good USB port and reseat connection as needed.
- From the Start Menu, go to Power and select Shut Down.
- Wait for the display to turn white and then turn off the main power breaker in the payment terminal.
- Wait 60 seconds and power the payment terminal back up.
- After the software loads, test the screen.
