Overview
Create the QR Code
- Click to open a web browser of choice (This example uses Firefox, but Chrome and Edge will have the same steps).
- Click the address bar of the web browser.

Type https://www.barcodesinc.com/generator/qr/ in the address bar, and then press the Return or Enter button on the keyboard.

In the Image Size box, select 300x300 from the list.
- In the Text to embed in QR Code box, click to remove any text and type the address of your website.
- Click the Create QR Code button.
- Right-click on the QR Code, and Open Link in New Window.
- Right-click on the QR Code, and then click Save Image As.
- Click the Save as type box, and select All Files.
- In the File Name box, type a file name and the extension .BMP.
- Note the location as this file will be referenced again.
- Click the Save button.
Attach the QR Code in the Hecon Printer Settings

In Windows Explorer, locate the Hecon Image Loader folder (Contact ICS Support for assistance if you do not have this folder).
- Open the folder containing the Image Loader software.

Double-click the C56ImageTool.exe application.

Click the first unused Select button.

Locate the previously saved QR Image.

Click the QR.BMP file created in the previous steps.
- Click Open.

Click the Upload to Printer button.
- After the status has changed to Image Loaded, click the Exit button on the lower right corner.
- Launch the WashConnect Software.

Enter your credentials and click log in.
- Select System Setup > Devices >Settings.
- In the Device Type list, select Auto Sentry.
- In the Device Name list, click to select the Device to assign the Receipt QR code.
- In the Settings Type list, select Touch.
- In the Settings box, click Receipt Footer.

Add the desired receipt footer wording to inform the Customer about the QR codes purpose (Maximum 36 characters per line).

Click the Save button.
- In the Information dialog box, click the Yes button to confirm the TouchPOSReady will have to be restarted to apply any changes, continue?
- In the Settings list, click to select Receipt Footer.
- In the Footer Logo Number box, type in 16. (This number assures that the QR code prints on the last line of the Receipt which is line 16.)

On Auto Sentry desktop, double-click the TouchPOSReady application shortcut.
Wait for the application to start, then perform a test purchase to confirm the QR code prints on your receipt.
