Overview and Precautions
The ICS WashConnect Software is a robust, all-in-one solution for the car wash industry. However, like all software, there is a possibility of errors when launching or running this software. Due to this possibility, we have gathered a list of tasks you can do to detect and mitigate the impact of potential occurrences. These steps do not need to be attempted in order.
Troubleshooting Steps
If WashConnect fails to start, or returns an error when loading a page, follow these steps to try to resolve the cause of the issue:
1. Click on the WashConnect window, then hold down the CTRL and F5 keys on the connected keyboard to refresh the screen.

- To refresh the function, toggle an F lock key on some computers before using the F5 key.
- If the Keyboard has the Function (Fn) key, hold down Fn and F5.
- If computer is an Apple device, hold down Command and R.
2. To reset Internet Options on the device that is experiencing the issue, follow these steps:
A. Open the Windows Start Menu.
B. Select Internet Options.
C. Click the Advanced tab.
D. Click Restore Settings.
E. Click Apply.
F. Click the General tab.
G. Click Settings within the Browsing History section.
H. Click the Every time I visit option.
I. Click OK.
3. To check for Windows Updates, and apply them, follow these steps:

- Open the Windows Start Menu.
- Click on or search for Settings.
- Click on or search for Update & Security.
- Click on Windows Update.
- Click Check for Updates.
- If updates are found, click either the Update Now or Update and Restart option.
- If the computer does not restart after updates have occurred, restart the Computer if it is safe to do so.

WARNING: Restarting an ICS computer during operation can severely impact site operations.
