About the POS Profile:
POS Profiles are used to determine which Sales Items will be available on the Touch POS or Presell retail profiles. Profiles can be displayed on the Touch POS or Presell based on the times configured for the profile's schedule and will automatically adjust the Sales Items that can be sold at the Touch POS or Presell.
You may need to manually add any sales items to the Touch POS sales screen, depending on the Assignment Mode set during POS Profile creation.
This guide applies to:
Existing sites that have created a sales item/wash book/gift card but are unable to view the newly created item on the Touch POS screen.
Adding Sales Items to a POS Profile:
- Login to WashConnect at the site level.
- Select Configuration > Goods and Services > POS Profiles.
- Locate the POS Profile.
- From the Profile panel, click the Edit button.
- Expand the Assign Sales Item node.
- From the Profit Center menu, select a profit center.
- To change the items showing on the Touch POS screen:
- If you wish to show a sales item/wash book/gift card, click to select the PLU box on the left-side for that item/book/card.
- If you wish to hide a sales item/wash book/gift card, click to clear the selection for the PLU box for that sales item/book/card.
- Press the Save button before changing Profit Centers.
About POS Profile Schedules:
- In addition to adding items, verify the POS Profile Schedule matches your desired sales days and times.
Add or Verify a POS Profile Schedule:
- Select Configuration > Goods and Services > POS Profiles.
- Click on the POS Profile to review or set a schedule.
- In the Schedule panel, click the Add button.
- Define the day(s) to sell the items listed within that POS Profile.
- Define the time(s) to sell the items listed within the POS Profile.
- Click OK to finalize your changes.
