Printer is not Printing or is Offline
(Test in between steps as needed through the service unit screen)
- Verify the printer has paper.
- Low paper can cause the printer to show offline.
- Even if the printer has paper, it may be worth re-feeding the paper. Spin the gold gear on the printer head towards you to remove the paper and feed the paper back in.
- If the printer will not feed paper, it may not have power or could be jammed.
- Verify the printer is not jammed.
- The gold gear on the right side of the printer head can be used to clear jams. Rotate the gear several times in both directions to ensure nothing is blocking the paper path. Re-feed the paper.
- Verify the red LED light is on / flashing.
- If no light, login to the Service Unit screen, then go to diagnostics, and select shut down. After Windows has shut down, toggle off the breaker inside the payment terminal.
- Reseat the power connection with orange and black wires, and then power the payment terminal back up by resetting the breaker.
- Verify the printer is not jammed.
- Reboot the payment terminal by holding the red (or black ) service unit button for 10 seconds.
- Alternate reboot options are through Windows or the Service Unit screen.
- Verify the low paper sensor is secured, and then inspect that the wire is not damaged.

-
Reseat the paper sensor connection on the printer head.
